And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who are called according to his purpose.

For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son….

Romans 8:28 – 29 NIV

This scripture is very meaningful to me. During our ministry in Bulawayo, it was a source of strength and comfort when many of our trusted friends and congregants turned against us. Through times of difficulties in the work place it kept me strong and focussed. In times of unemployment, and having rent to pay and a family to feed during our time in Greenside, it encouraged me to look to God’s wider purpose, and caused me to see that God is with us in all circumstances, and will turn it around for our good. But the one thing we often forget is that God uses all these trials to change us to be more like Jesus. The Christian life is not easy, but it is a wonderful adventure, that leads us through dark valleys, and bright mountain tops and everything in between. All of these are designed to make us more like Jesus.

We had hopes of getting water laid on again. These hopes have been dashed. We have had a Jojo tank installed and connected to our water system, but at the last hour, the municipality cut off the water supply to this area. There has been very little rain over September and October. The water level of the dam that supplies water to this area stands at eleven percent. So we continue the long haul to Lusaka and back for water. Some of this water is poured into two or one litre bottles, so that Cynthia and Heather can handle them. This can take from half hour to an hour every day.

Our electricity is also very erratic. There are days when the power can go down three times, and come back one or two hours later, or a day later. Then the power can be stable for a week or more, then it all starts again, especially when there is a strong wind or rain. So, when you work on the computer, you have to save your work as you go along, as you never know when it will just go off.

It could be very discouraging, were it not for the encouragement of the Scriptures, and the assurance we have, that God is with us in all these things, and is working for our good in all circumstances, good or bad, favourable or unfavourable. So we rejoice in the God of our salvation, who works for our good in all circumstances.

The Church in Mabolela

The church services have been going well. We are reinforcing the teaching we received at our annual network retreat, to cement the teaching on the Holy Spirit in the lives of the people. We have dealt with such subjects as, the Holy Spirit will effect change in our lives as we look into the scriptures; The Holy Spirit will create a deep desire for God in our hearts, that will express itself in studying the Word of God; The Holy Spirit is a vital, but neglected member of the Trinity; The Holy Spirit will always lead us to Jesus, and make us more like Jesus through true fellowship with God in prayer and the Word; etc. These teachings are beginning to take effect. Some people have asked us to do more Bible studies.

The services are not as well attended as they were a while ago. The Reason? For years we have been supplying food to some of the poorest people. But lately, the finances for the food parcels has dwindled, and the only source of finance for the food parcels is the donation from the His Place Church, Hastings, in England, and a lovely lady from Uvongo, on the south coast. These donations on their own are not sufficient to support all the families who look to us for food, about one hundred and thirty to one hundred and fifty, women and children. As a result we have only been able to give each family a bag of maize meal. So, many of these people no longer come to the church. Now we know who was coming just for the food, and who had a genuine interest in seeking God. That is a good thing, for now the hidden motives have been exposed.

October Holiday Bible Club

Much hard work goes into running an HBC but it is well worth it when you see the bright eyes of the youth in anticipation of being leaders and being used by the Lord during the HBC (their eyes are not so bright by the end of the week but they have a sense of fulfilment in their hearts).

They teach the children the ways of the Lord, sharing in their lives, feeding an average of 150 a day both physically and spiritually, getting to know them better through spending time with them, playing games and singing songs. They really enjoyed performing the drama of the Prodigal Son which spoke into the lives of the children and teenagers. The theme was Character Building – our own, others and then what Jesus’ character is like. We all aim to be Jesus-like to others but its only by the Lord’s grace that we have any hope of being that. One day we will be like Him, seeing Him as He is. Glory.

Martha from SU Vaal helped us a lot with the HBC and we thank her very much for all her time and effort. She also preached at our church service and was greatly used by the Lord. She is a blessing to us all.A special thank you, to all those who responded so sacrificially to our appeal for funds, for the HBC. The Funds received were sufficient for us to give the children a good meal after each day’s activities, and to feed our hardworking leaders, and to give the children snacks, as they left for home each day. Thank you so much for your generous giving. A number of children responded to the gospel call.

Food Project

Over many years we have supplied food to many vulnerable people, mainly, orphans, widows and their children, single mothers and their children. A very big “thank you” to the His Place Church for supporting this endeavour over so many, many years, and to all those who have, and are giving to this cause. Thank you very much. It has been a great privilege to be used to meet the needs of these people, through your donations. As we are no longer able to meet the needs of all these people, because of financial constraints, we believe that God wants us to focus on the most vulnerable. That is, child headed homes, orphans and widows, where funds permit. Please pray that we will have enough funding to meet these needs.

Prayer Requests

Finance on the whole has been a problem over the past three or four months. There is a shortage of funds in all areas of the ministry. In the past when there was a shortage of funds in one area, we were able to make up any shortfall from our own resources, this is no longer the case. Our income has dropped off. This month we have not been able to pay our rent, and now another month’s rent will be due. This is a problem. Please pray that God will give us wisdom to be able to raise more support for the work and ourselves.

Julia is out growing her present rented house, the church needs a building to meet in, and big enough to run a Holiday Bible Club. We have been praying for the money to buy a large piece of ground where we can build a Christian Community Centre. Please pray for the release of finance to buy the land and build this centre.

Thanks

Thank you so much for your faithful prayers for us. We are very much dependant on your Constant prayer support.

Thank you for your gifts to us and for the various projects of the ministry. We appreciate all that you do for us. Thank you very much. We appreciate each one of you.

Much love in Jesus,

Reg and Cynthia Schafer and Julia O Connell.

December 2015/January 2016

If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray, seek my face, turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land. 1 Chronicles 7:14

Praise God! He has heard our prayers. Here and elsewhere we have had some good rains and the oppressive heat has been replaced with warm but milder weather. However the drought has not been broken. In many places in the Free State, dams are critically low or empty. In Qwa Qwa water to households has been turned off. Trucks carrying water go to the villages and people have to line up with their water containers to collect water. There are also water points in different areas where you can go to collect water. One of those water points is at the ‘Rainbow House’ next to the church in Lusaka. We go there at least once a week to collect water. Life becomes very difficult without water on tap. You cannot run a bath or take a shower. You wash in a basin. You flush the toilet every now and then (with rain water collected from the roof, when, and if it rains) or you use the long drop in the back garden. So we continue to pray and call upon God to send more rain to fill the dams and to water the crops. Our God who controls the weather patterns will, in his mercy, continue to send the rain.

Some personal news

December was a hectic month. A four day Holiday Bible Club, Organising a Sunday School party, an all night prayer meeting in Lusaka with the Lusaka Christian fellowship, buying and delivering food parcels, a quick up and down trip to Durban to conduct a funeral service (my sister in law Veronica passed on to be with the Lord), three services over the Christmas week end. Between the rush to Durban and back and the Christmas day service, I went down with heat stroke and a tummy bug. Praise God I did not end up in hospital as I did some years back. Then on Sunday evening 28 th December, Rusty one of our dogs that we share with John, was mauled by a pack of seven vicious dogs. In spite of three trips of 160 KM’s to the vet in Bethlehem and back, he passed away on the Wednesday evening in the vets rooms. In spite of feeling awful, I praise the Lord that he gave me the strength to handle the three services and the three trips to Bethlehem, and go hiking in the mountains with Russell who had come to spend some time with us. Then Russell and I did a few more hikes in the mountains. Then there were the New Year services.

2015-12-1On the 2nd January, on a hike in the mountains we were caught in a severe thunder storm as we were coming downfrom the top of the mountain. Ducking low and hiding behind rocks we were able to avoid the lightning that was striking around us. We were soaked to the skin. With the deluge of water, praise God for the rain, the steep slope, and very slippery conditions, I lost my footing and had quite a bad fall. 2015-12-2I twisted my left knee. It was very sore, but we had to get home and out of the storm. My knee is still quite painful. Please pray for healing. The pain sometimes wakes me up at night. Yes we had an action pact December. Praise the Lord that he enables us. In January, a good friend sent us some money and Cynthia and I took two days off. We spent the time at the Sterkfontein Dam Nature Reserve. We still feel like we need some time to recover. But ministry goes on and God gives grace.

Holiday Bible Clubs

This time the weather was pretty good to us and although it was very hot we were able to use our whole programme by just shortening some of the games. Clouds helped us as well on some days. The children really enjoyed the fun time, the Bible stories and verses, the singing and the lunch. Thank you to those who contributed financially and in prayer. Our volunteers did a sturdy job and we thank them for all their help and sacrifices.

The Saturday after the Mabolela HBC we held a thank you braai for all the leaders who had helped us with the HBCs during the year every school holiday. This was hard work but enjoyed and appreciated by all.

In January we held a 2 day HBC at Phomolong – also on an open field – and over 200 children enjoyed the programme and learnt more about Jesus as Saviour, Friend, and Comforter as well as the obedience of all those involved with Jesus’ life on earth. Thanks to our faithful volunteers everything went off well.

The Food Project

2015-12-6.pngIn December we distributed 37 food parcels. These FP help to feed 37 families, about 138 people. Then we still have others coming to the gate for food. Thanks to the gifts of our partners and the goodness of the Lord we are able to help the very poor. Some of these families are child headed households, others are widows and grand children, there are also singlemothers and their children, some have up to six or seven children. Each month there are more people needing food help.

2015-12-7We are trying to raise additional funding for the increasing number of people needing help. Please pray that God will give us favour with General Motors Child Line and TFS Wholesalers.

Some of the food parcels for distribution in Lusaka.

Sunday After Service Lunch

2015-12-8This is still being enjoyed by all who attend the services in the school class room, especially the children. In December our numbers increased greatly especially the children. Thank you again to our Korean friends who provide the money for the bread, marg., polony and juice.

The Mustard Seed

The deer, cow, sheep and all the little humans of Qwa Qwa are panting for water. It is a very worrying and difficult situation to be in. Our shelter uses 2000 litres of water a day. Having immune compromised children living in our extended family, they need to drink good, clean water. And it just is not naturally available. Julia spent one restless Sunday night worrying and fretting about where we were going to land up. It is a very frightening thought to realise that you are responsible to see that water is available for 14 orphaned and vulnerable children. So Julia contacted Operation Hydrate and we were blessed with 2400 litres of bottled water. Then we prayed daily for God to keep H20 flowing freely in His home. And the greatest Friend of widows and orphans has graciously continued to provide for The Mustard Seed Shelter.

Our children have all been signed into their new schools and by God’s tremendous grace we have managed to provide each child with stationery and brand new school uniforms. A new, stiff uniform with brand new leather shoes, help our children realise their worth and raises their self esteem. No more are they raggedy little orphans eating out of dustbins. They are important enough to warrant the very best. Our Jehovah Jireh blesses us in spite of our mustard seed faith. God bless you all.

Urgent Prayer Items

This item will not change. The needs are urgent, and God is Able.

Rain: Rain: Rain!!! God Is Able to change weather patterns. We need much rain in the catchment areas for the 2 dams that feed Qwa Qwa so that we will be able to have running water again in our taps and toilet. The people are struggling with long queues waiting for water tankers to come and fill their containers which they then struggle to carry or push home on old wheelbarrows. As for the animals – enough said. So sad. We even carried buckets of water and pushed them through a fence where 2 cows were by a dry stream!

Suitable land for suitable buildings. Please pray with us that the Lord will give us a suitable stand on which to build a community centre. The UGENT NEED is for a large hall with a kitchen, three storerooms, and an office. The hall needs to be large enough to run the Holiday Bible Club, in cases of severe heat or rain. The kitchen is so that we can cook for the HBC and other church functions on the premises. The three secure, and equipped storerooms are: for the food for distribution, clothes that we are sent for distribution and allthe HBC and church equipment. I am finding the delivering of the food parcels very tiring. But it is better than having three, four or five people at your gate on a regular basis asking for food. The plan is to have someone in the office on set days during the month to distribute the food and clothes. The vision is to have a centre where we can have an orphanage; a home for the elderly, especially widows; recreational facilities for the children and the young people of the surrounding villages. The aim being to keep them from the taverns and all the evils associated with these. Pray that the Lord will release finance to fulfil the vision. From the human standpoint, this is mission impossible; BUT OUR GOD IS ABLE.

Workers. We are still praying for a younger couple or younger persons to help in the ministry, and then to take over the ministry. We will remain and work with them. Please pray with us that they will have a real calling to mission work.

THANKS

Thank you all very much for reading our newsletter. Thank you too for praying for us and the ministry challenges. Thank you also for giving to us and to the work, so that we may continue, by God’s grace, to serve and help the community here in Qwa Qwa. We appreciate you all very much. Thank you.

Much love in Jesus,

Reg and Cynthia Schafer and Julia O Connell.

If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray, seek my face, turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land. 1 Chronicles 7:14

As a ministry, and as individuals, we continue to humble ourselves before our Almighty God, who is the Great King over all the earth, and continue to pray for rain. Our great and mighty God who is enthroned in the heavens, controls the weather patterns. Even when the experts say there will be no rain, our God is able to cause it to rain. Though our sins, and the sins of our nation reach to the heavens, he is merciful and gracious, and will hear our prayers as we stand in the gap for our nation.

This same Scripture applies also to the nations of Europe who are facing huge problems of the migrant crisis, as people flee wars in the Middle East and Africa, as well as internal threats of terror attacks. As people of prayer let us stand in the gap for the nations of Europe as they grapple with these problems. But let as also pray that the wars in the Middle East and Africa will be resolved and terrorist groups will be defeated. Pray too that the nations of Europe will come to the realisation that the gospel of Jesus Christ is
the only solution to the problems they are facing. Pray too that there will be a humbling of lives and a turning back to God in this time of crisis. Our Great God who inhabits eternity IS ABLE to do far more than we can think or even imagine.

Holiday Bible Club

2015-11-1The Lord willing, these December holidays there will be three HBC’s. The first, starting on 14 th December, in Mabolela on an open field. The other two will be held in January 2016, to coincide with a visit from the pastors from Korea. One in Phomolong village, on an open ground, the other at Lusaka, where we will use the church. These dates have not been set yet, as we are waiting for dates from Korea. Please pray that the heat will not be a major factor, as it was in October, when we had to cut short some of the activities because of theexcessive heat. We are appealing for funds to feed the children after each day of the HBC. Thank you for praying and for giving toward the HBC’s.

The Food Project

2015-11-2In spite of the fact that we have removed six families from the list of those receiving food parcels, as they have disappeared from the radar, 37 food parcels were delivered in November. On top of this a number of children from a very poor area not far from here have been coming to us for food. This week a group from the ministry will visit these homes and make an assessment of the actual need. We are battling to feed the existing beneficiaries, now more urgent needs are arising. But we know that the Lord will provide. If he sends people to us he will also provide the funding to provide food for them. This past week we had to deliver food to a few desperate families in Chris Hani Park village. It was very difficult to find these homes. Some of these homes were situated on very bad, steep and even hazardous roads. We made it without any damage to the vehicle. Praise the Lord for the vehicle he has provided. We discovered safer and “better” roads to get out. We will use these “better” roads for future deliveries. Even though we deliver food to the houses we still have desperately hungry people and children coming to our home for food. If we have we always give. But we do encourage them to come on Sundays to the service and collect after service. A very big thank you, to all those who give toward this project. Pray that The Lord will provide for this project, and that we will be able to provide food for all the really needy people who come to us.

Sunday After Service Lunch

2015-11-3This past Sunday 90 children attended as well as 25 – 30 adults. This created a big logistical problem. In the end most of the children had to sit 3 to 2 chairs. Not very
comfortable. The need for larger premises is now becoming very urgent.

Sunday School Presentation

The children who have attended Sunday School regularly and done the Greatest Journey course were presented with certificates, the Greatest Journey book and a New Testament Bible. Others were given the course books (large or small) depending on their ages.

The Mustard Seed

Ever since Julia and the Mustard Seed family moved into the new premises they have had a very big problem with their electricity. This in spite of the assurances of the owners that there was no problems with the electricity or the geysers. The geysers did not work. So, most of the time you had to boil water on the gas stove for a bath, or have a cold bath. All the clothes for eighteen people had to be washed by hand. The plugs were not working so the fridge and freezer did not work. The lights were extremely dim. Therefore all cooking, eating, homework, bathing etc had to be done before it got dark. Well praise the Lord, the owner has now fixed the electricity, and has put in a new modern electricity box. God is good.

March 2014.

“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the broken-hearted”
Isaiah 61:1.

So many people in Qwa Qwa carry deep hurts in their hearts due to sin and the hurt inflicted upon them by others. The good news is that Jesus, through his blood shedding on the cross is able to heal these very deep and unseen wounds in people’s lives. His invitation of Matthew 11:28 still stands:

“Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

During March we were greatly blessed by a visit by Janet Barlin. Janet is a member of the Acts 2:42 Network. She ministered on healing of the heart and body, and deliverance from the power satan and of self condemnation. Janet also spoke some very pertinent “WORDS” over certain people. She also spent time with Julia and ministered to her and was also able to minister to some young people in their homes. Some people were healed physically. A number received emotional healing from past abuse and failures, while others were delivered from self condemnation because of past mistakes and sin.

2014_14 2014_18 2014_17 2014_16 2014_15

SPECIAL THANK YOU – To Janet for taking the time to minister to the broken people of Mabolela, Qwa Qwa.

Midweek Bible Studies.
Eight to eleven teenagers gather at our home most Wednesday evenings to study the Bible. The Lord showed a way whereby the truths taught could be cemented into the lives of these young people. We are busy with a series of twenty one studies on “What the Bible Teaches.” The difference is that with the notes on the teachings comes a fairly comprehensive test on the notes, and the Bible verses, that has to be done at home and handed in the following week. After every seven courses are completed the there will be an exam on those seven studies followed by a final exam at the completion of the course. Some of the courses covered so far are: “The Bible is the Word of God”, “God”, “Man and satan”, “the Cross”, “The Blood of Christ.” Home work is not compulsory, yet most of them are keen to do it. The papers are marked and handed back to the students with comments and all the correct answers supplied. God is raising up Christian workers from this group.

The Mustard Seed.
The highlights at the Mustard Seed this month were the ”Passion Play”, performed by some of the children for the other children, and a braai where some of the children did the preparation and cooking. The children also did a drama at the Sunday morning service during Janet’s visit.

2014_21“It is truly not by might nor by power, but only through the precious, faithful Holy Spirit, that the Mustard Seed continues to flourish,” writes Julia. She continues, “He leads, I follow. He is the vine, I am the branch. I could not be anything else but his servant. Faced on a daily basis with illness, traumas and little souls that need so much, it is truly impossible to do this work without the Holy Spirit. So, in this month of lent, I lift up, and give our victorious, overcoming, compassionate Christ all the glory. Glory of producing young disciples and evangelists from raw material; glory for providing when we are on our last potato; glory for his love that never lets any of us down. Thank you Holy Spirit for your supernatural work.”

Future Events
31 st March – 4 th April we will be running another Holiday Bible Club. If you are able to donate anything toward the HBC we will be very grateful as we are short of finance for this HBC.

Please pray that God will guide us as we prepare for the Easter weekend, and that as well as the right speakers, he will give us the right venue for the Easter meetings.

Thanks.
Thank you for praying for us. We need your pray support. At present I am very tired and irritable, but he renews my strength, and his grace is sufficient for me. We appreciate you, as well as the fact that you are praying for us.

Thank you too for your financial support as well. It means a lot to us that we have faithful backers who believe in us and what we are doing.

Thank you all for taking the time to read this newsletter.

God bless you all. Love in Jesus

February 2014.

On this mountain he will destroy the shroud that enfolds all people, the sheet that covers all nations
He will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign Lord will wipe away tears from all faces.
Isaiah 25:7 – 8a.

This is a verse that the Lord has laid upon my heart for this year. Jesus, through his death on the cross fulfilled this promise, he has triumphed over the devil, who blinds the eyes of unbelievers, and he destroys the sheet the devil has thrown over all people. What the Lord has shown us is that there is a deep darkness over the people, and that here in Qwa Qwa, the devil still holds the shroud over the people, through ancestral worship, witchcraft and traditional African religion. The other thing he has shown us is that we have to wrestle with God until he destroys that shroud and breaks through the darkness that enfolds the people of Qwa Qwa. We need to do this with the attitude of Jacob when he wrestled with God at Peniel, saying, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.” Exodus 32:26. This breakthrough can only come through the power of the Holy Spirit working through the anointed Word of God.

The unfolding of your words gives life; it imparts understanding to the simple. Psalm 119:130.

Sun Rising over Qwa Qwa.

Sun Rising over Qwa Qwa

Please pray that a new day will dawn in Qwa Qwa. That the Son of God will rise with healing in his wings and shine the light of his word into the hearts of the people in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Pray this prayer with us (words of a chorus):
Shine Jesus shine, fill Qwa Qwa with the Fathers glory; Blaze Spirit blaze, set our hearts on fire; Flow river flow, flood Qwa Qwa with the Fathers glory; Send forth your word Lord, and let there be light.

Pray that God who said “Let light shine out of darkness” will shine in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

The Mustard Seed
Julia writes from The Mustard Seed: “A very busy month as His angels enter the gates of the Mustard Seed daily with praise and thanksgiving in their little hearts. By his grace has this home become a piece of heaven amongst the crime, angst and poverty. Fulfilling the Fathers vision for 2014, and providing the means to introduce the real Jesus to this dark, and depressed people led me to show the Jesus movie to a group of 10 to 12 year olds.

2014_9

Intermittently during the movie six children had to be led to the kitchen as they were overcome by frantic, heartfelt sobbing. I sat with them during this Holy Spirit hour. There were no words to say, just the sure knowledge that his precious Spirit was ministering to their pain. They had empathised with the lashings Jesus received and it had touched their inmost core. Yes, six souls had met the real Christ. The greatest miracle known to mankind took place that rainy afternoon. Christ Jesus is looking after his precious little vessels in the physical realm as well. They now look like the Kings kids as they proudly wear, decent, recently donated clothing. After homework and Bible club the Kings kids play with unfamiliar, educational games blessed to them by a ladies church group. Life is changing and evolving positively for his oppressed and poor children.

2014_10

They are being raised up to empower and inspire future converts. The Mustard Seed, under his anointing is producing little David’s to fight the Goliath’s of Qwa Qwa. The Holy Spirit is powerful, relevant and is amongst us. I can only stand and watch in amazement at his workings. No one is beyond his power. From a hardened, smart talking ex convict living nearby, to the youngest most vulnerable child, he is doing his work. I must just be faithful and alert. He does it all, In his way and in his time. Thank you for your prayers in this harvest field. May he continue to bring hope to the hopeless, love to the loveless, and bind up the broken hearted with his good news.

Food Parcel Distribution: These are two of the homes we delivered food to. They are in the village of Phomolong.

2014_11 2014_12

Phomolong is a very poor area. The houses are constructed of mud or corrugated sheeting. Very few people in this village are employed. They rely on state grants and the good will of others. In February six households from this village were supplied with food. In all thirty three households received food parcels with eighty people benefiting. Some of these are child headed homes and many of those benefiting are orphans. We are all very grateful to The His Place Church for funding this project. Thank you for your generosity and for helping many desperate people, and giving them some hope in life. May the Lord continue to prosper you as you serve him in spreading the gospel.

The Warfare we are Waging.
Through the slaughtering of cows and sheep at and after funerals, the drunkenness, and the sexual immorality all around us, we are constantly reminded of the warfare we are waging. The people are so steeped in ancestral worship and its attendant evils that only a radical change of heart and mind set will cause change. Only a new birth through the power of the Holy Spirit can cause such radical change. We cry to God for a MIGHTY WORK of the HOLY SPIRIT. We cry for REVIVAL.

2014_13

Pray with us that we may have the victory over satan and his minions through our Lord Jesus Christ. “They overcame him by the BLOOD of the LAMB and by the WORD of their TESTIMONY.”

Future Events
28th March – General church meeting to approve the Mabolela church constitution and to elect deacons. This could be a tricky meeting.

31st March – 4th April we will be running another Holiday Bible Club. If you are able to donate anything toward the HBC we will be very grateful as we are short of finance for this HBC.

Please pray that God will guide us as we prepare for the Easter weekend, and that God will help us get the geust speakers he would like to minister over this week end.

Please pray for each of these events. Pray that God will move in power and challenge the people to change their ways and grow up in Christ.

Thanks.
To those of you who PRAY for us and for the work here, we say, “Thank you very much.” Through our combined prayers, i.e. your prayers and the prayers of us here in Qwa Qwa, we WILL OVERCOME the evil one, his wicked schemes and the obstacles he places in our way. Thank you!

Thanks too, to those who support us and, the work financially. You play a vital role in this work and in our lives. We thank you!

Thank you all for taking the time to read this newsletter.

As we together walk forward into the future, with its challenges, in full assurance of faith and confidence in him in whom we have believed, let us each, put our hand into the HAND of the LIVING GOD, not looking back, but looking unto JESUS, so that, in Him, we may fulfil God’s calling on our lives.

God bless you all. Love in Jesus
